LAIR 302: Book Videos, Dates & Teams

Make a video about the book you read, following the specifications in the rubric below. The video should be shown in the conference call on the day of your presentation, and its final version should be uploaded to Blackboard that same day.

Rubric – Book presentations
Information about the author, the first edition of the book, and a brief plot summary of the book.
20%
Identify at least 3 themes that are present in the novel with direct quotes. Themes are the answers to the question of what the novel is about. They should be specific social issues, political issues, economic issues, and cultural elements.
30%
Give context about the 3 themes: Where are they present in the novel? What do they tell us about the time when the novel was written/published and the time it’s talking about? Include quotes from the book.

Video uploaded to Youtube with the title of the book and at least two of the themes in the title, available for public viewing.
